Kiln Upgrade, New Cement Mill and Silos

Cimenterie Nationale was founded in 1953 by the Doumet and Asseily families, and is today one of the regional leading cement producers. In addition to being an industry leader on the Lebanese market, the company is also a prominent worldwide cement exporter, serving the Levant, Africa and occasionally Europe. The expansion project involved the upgrade of a kiln to almost double capacity while adding a crusherdryer plant, extending a clinker cooler, and replacing the exhaust system. Storage capacity was increased by 40,000 tons, and automatic bag loading machines were installed.
