INDUSTRIAL STAKEHOLDERS' MEETING

Chairman Nabil Itani presided over an industrial stakeholders' meeting organized by IDAL to get feedback from Lebanese industrialists on suggested reforms and programs to enhance exports and investments in the sector.
The industrialists were represented by Dr. Fadi Gemayel, President of the Association of Lebanese Industrialists.

FRUIT LOGISTICA EXHIBITION 2019

Chairman of IDAL Mr. Nabil Itani inaugurated the Lebanese pavilion at the Fruit Logistica exhibition which is held in Germany between 6 and 8 February in the presence of Lebanese Ambassador Mr. Mostafa Adib. 
The Lebanese pavilion at Fruit Logistica falls under the unconditional and full support of IDAL to the productive sectors, including the agricultural sector. The Lebanese agricultural scene is bursting with many promising opportunities and potential and is showing readiness for growth, especially that there are many sectors that are still unexploited.

ARAB PRIVATE SECTOR FORUM

IDAL sponsored the "Arab Private Sector Forum" organized by the Federation of Arab Chambers of Commerce on the sidelines of the Arab Economic Summit. The Chairman Eng. Nabil Itani said that the regional turmoil and instability affected the region ability of attracting investments. Investment inflows to the Arab countries during the past ten years fell by 65%. Despite this, Eng. Itani assures that the region has many economic assets that enable it to develop internal solutions and face challenges.

SEMINAR ON THE "GLOBAL VALUE CHAIN"

IDAL, in collaboration with the SGS Company, organized a seminar on the "Global Value Chain", which opens new prospects to development in the agriculture sector. The Global Value Chain consists of a comprehensive development process that includes a series of activities contributing to the establishment of product value, from research and development to manufacturing and marketing, thus preserving the Lebanese product position in the traditional markets and allowing access to new markets.
